The One with Being Bold! 11-8-17

NOVEMBER 8, 2017 Hello friends and family how are you all doing this week! I am doing great here in the mission Chile Santiago South This week was a week full of conferences. We had one as the South part of the mission and then we had a huge one as a whole mission and the West mission. It was crazy! While we were there I realized how tiny our mission is and how few of us there really are. The West mission has many many missionaries and we are just so few, but we are the best! The west mission were all serious and our mission was a fun and excited! We are like a big, happy family! We had a special visit from Elder Christensen and his wife from the 70. They gave some powerful and uplifting talks! Something that stood out to me was a quote by Elder Christensen that said BE BOLD! I love this so much! It is soooo important to be bold in all that we do as missionaries! It is vital to share the Gospel and our Testimonies with Boldness! But not just missionaries with nametags all members need

NOVEMBER 1, 2017 Add caption Hey Friends and Family how is everyone doing? I am doing great here in the great Chile Santiago South Mission. This week was a good week because it was a hard week, we all need those from  time to time! It was a week full of appointments falling through, walking the ENTIRE day, having to help some of the Hermanas with problems, and not having much luck finding new people to teach. It was a week that made my companion and I work and really work. It seemed to be a trial after another and every time we felt too weak to overcome them. A week like this really made me dive into the scriptures for guidance and help, and I ended up reading Ether 12. Best chapter on faith in the Book Of Mormon! I especially love a few words throughout the chapter which reads "wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith...... And neither at any time hath any wrought miracles until after their faith; wheref

OCTOBER 25TH, 2017 Hello family and friends! How was your week? I hope happy and full of love! I would like to share an experience that i had this week. This week we had a few Capilla Abiertas. These are like Chapel Open Houses. We have the people come into the church and we Sister Missionaries give tours of the church to the visitors, there are huge banners in the rooms that have points of the Gospel and we get to teach them! The Elders are our in the street contacting all the people and inviting everyone it, then the members set up stands with their organizations so that the people get to know what we do at church. So they will have a table for Relief Society, Young Women and Young Men, Priesthood.. stuff like that. They are awesome and there are always a lot of references for the missionaries in the ward of people to go visit. Well, this week my comp and I had many do, including one of them in our own ward! The fist one we went to this week there were two little children ther

OCTOBER 18, 2017 Hello family and friends! I hope all is well and that you all had a great week and that everyone is getting ready for Halloween! This week here in Chile was a little crazy but full of learning and growing opportunities. To start out  the week we got a call from our Bishop at 6 in the morning informing us of the saddest news. A recent convert in our ward that we have been teaching lost her husband this week from a brain aneurysm. It was a rapid and uncontrollable loss.  This family has had more trials that anyone I have ever met. They have a one year old baby who had a tumor on the back on her neck and head that was the same size as her head. Part of her brain was inside of this ball, so the surges were sooo hard to do! The first one was to just split her skull open to make room, then another operation to push her brain inside her head, then had another emergency one because the blood wasnt flowing right. THe baby had a 2% chance of living... and did! She still
