I have chosen to serve an 18mo mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "I know the Lord is loving and kind. I know that He knows us individually and perfectly. I am so grateful to be a servant of my Savior Jesus Christ. Being a missionary has already been the best decision I have made. I love this Gospel and my dear Heavenly Father."
My MOTTO: Work Hard, Pray Harder!
The One with the Italian Night
OCTOBER 26, 2016 Hello everyone,
I dont have much to write this week because well nothing really happened. It was a week full of contacting and lessons that fell through. We had lessons fall through every day this week. It has been one of the hardest weeks in the mission! We didnt have many lessons or success this week at all. It was a bit of a set back and definitely was early to fell let down and just sad... but that is not who I am! I am a positive person and one who loves to look for the good in all things. I decided to put a smile on my face and told my companion that we were just gonna let the happy moment role and push forward. She wasnt too excited about my attitude but I dragged her along anyway. Though this week was hard and didnt have that much success, it was a week full of spiritual growth. I hgave really learned this week to just trust in the Lord with all my heart. I know that if I do my best, the Lord will do the rest.
This last Friday we had a huge Italian Night with the Ward. We had soooo many Menos Activos and Investigatores come! It was a mini miracle in my eyes. We ate, watched the youth dance, and talked. It was a great night and the Investigadores and Menos Activos were able to have some fun with the members and us of course. I know that because I turned around my attitude, I was able to see this little tender mercy in my life. It was a beautiful thing to see that when we are positive and have faith that Chist will do his part, we can see the results!!
Okay so after the first 12 weeks there is ALWAYS a change in companions. It ios when we are no longer in our training and we are considered normal missionaries lol. Well yesterday was changes and guess what..... I DIDNT HAVE CHANGES!!! I don't really no why but President told us he felt we needed to be together longer and that El Parron (our ward) needed us. Soooo yeah I am still with my companion and I am pretty happy about it. President told us that we probably will not be together a whole other change but he will change us in the middle.. it is super strange and sooo not normal, but oh well. I know that President Gwilliam receives inspiration directly from God and I have total faith in him and in the Lord. So we are just here in El Parron and working hard. I am hoping to see some more progress with our Investigadores and of course I am remaining positive!
I love you all so much and hope all is well. Oh and Happy Halloween on Monday!! Eat lots of candy and rot your teeth!! Remember to stay positive always even when it is hard. When you feel to weak to stand, kneel.
I am always praying for all of you!!! Love you all!!
SEPTEMBER 20, 2017 Hello everyone! I hope that this week was great and eventful! I had the greatest week and had some crazy things happen! BUT before I start I would just like to give a shoutout to the best little brother in the world, my little Janson and wish him the Happiest of Birthdays! It was this past Sunday and he is now 15 years old!!! I cannot believe it! HE IS HUGE! I hope it was the greatest day little man and I hope you know how much I love you and thought of you that day! You were in my heart all day long!! I miss you so much but will see you soon mu little buddy! I love you!
Okay so to start out the week we had the most amazing service project ever! We were able to help a family in great need! Sadly an entire house burnt down! EVERYTHING was destroyed and we had to enter the house and clear all the burnt things out. It was a two day job and it was pretty fun, so sad though. We would find things that were kinda okay like some toys of the kids, or clothes, or even just so…

Hey everyone! This week was a great week here in Chile Santiago Sur! We had a fun week with some great ward activities for the CHile Independence Day and a lot of success in the work! So last Saturday we had our huge ward party and we ate a yummy Chilean BBQ and had a war of Ping Pong! My comp and I were doing great until we went up against some Hermano and he killed us, but it was fun anyway!
THis week we had the opportunity to listen tto and have a Conference with a member if the General Authority 70, Elder Bragg! It was so amazing to hear and have a Conference with Elder Bragg. He gave so much insiration and wisdom for our little mission! One thing that really stuck out to me was his way of telling us how we can find and have miracles in the work of the Lord. It is a mix of three very important things, 1. Having a love so deep that it turns to charity 2. Having the highest but most acheivable expectations and 3. Integrity. These 3 things are the pathway to findin…
JULY 5, 2017 HELLO everyone! This has been a crazy, fun, surprising, and a whirlwind of a week! It started out with the BAPTISM OF GUSTAVO and XIMENA!!!! They both were baptized on Saturday and Confirmed the following Sunday! It was one of the greatest days in my mission! They are now members of the church and are working to be sealed in the Temple one year from now! I was filled with joy to see them both in white and 100% clean! True Celestial Happiness right there! Now, not everything went the ways that we wanted it to go! It is not a real baptism if there isnt at least one problem now is it? LOL. First, the hot water in the church was not working! We could not figure out why it would not turn on and could not get it to work! We said a prayer and we were coming everything we could! We figured out it was the batteries so me and my comp go running to the nearest store to change the batteries! Luckily, close by there is a store that is like Home Depot and they have all types of batterie…
