The One with the CHANGES!!


 

NOVEMBER 23RD 2016
Hola mis amigos y familia!! 

How is everyone doing and feeling? I hope that at this time of year everyone is happy and showing gratitude for all the things that we have in this life. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have just been feeling do grateful. I have never been so happy I have never been so happy in my life! The mission is the best place I could be and the best decision I have ever made in my life! 

OK so First things first, we had changes!!!! I m soooo sad. Our changes were special too. They were 2 weeks early than usual and only we had changes. My comp Hermana Ruiz was called to be an Hermana Leader. So, we had changes with the original Hermana Leaders so that Ruiz could be trained. The reason we had it early is because both of the Hna Leaders right now are leaving their missions in 4 weeks!! So my Comp now is Hermana Ibanez and she has 18 months in the mission (She extended her mission one month). So I, having now 5 months in the mission, have a comp with 18..... fun right? But the good thing is that Ibanez is honestly so great. She is from Argentina and the sweetest little thing. I love her so much already and it has only been one day! But I am heart broken to leave my mama Hermana Ruiz. We are the greatest of friends and have grown so much together. We cried and cried and cried when we separated. Now I am leading my sector and things are going just wonderfully! This past week was the birthday of Hermana Ruiz, before we had changes. I made her breakfast and gave her a few gifts that I got for her and spenD the day with families. It is so nice to have love here from the families, definitely makes it easier for holidays and birthdays.



This week I am just gull of gratitude. I am grateful first and foremost I am grateful for my Father in Heaven. He is always listening and answering our prayers because he loves us. I am grateful for my beautiful family that I have and for their love. Im grateful for all the missionaries in the world fighting for our Savior, Lord and King. I am grateful for the Gospel and the pure and infinite joy it brings me. My heart is so full of gratitude that it might burst!!!

OCTOBER 18, 2017 Hello family and friends! I hope all is well and that you all had a great week and that everyone is getting ready for Halloween! This week here in Chile was a little crazy but full of learning and growing opportunities. To start out  the week we got a call from our Bishop at 6 in the morning informing us of the saddest news. A recent convert in our ward that we have been teaching lost her husband this week from a brain aneurysm. It was a rapid and uncontrollable loss.  This family has had more trials that anyone I have ever met. They have a one year old baby who had a tumor on the back on her neck and head that was the same size as her head. Part of her brain was inside of this ball, so the surges were sooo hard to do! The first one was to just split her skull open to make room, then another operation to push her brain inside her head, then had another emergency one because the blood wasnt flowing right. The One with Being Bold! 11-8-17

NOVEMBER 8, 2017 Hello friends and family how are you all doing this week! I am doing great here in the mission Chile Santiago South This week was a week full of conferences. We had one as the South part of the mission and then we had a huge one as a whole mission and the West mission. It was crazy! While we were there I realized how tiny our mission is and how few of us there really are. The West mission has many many missionaries and we are just so few, but we are the best! The west mission were all serious and our mission was a fun and excited! We are like a big, happy family! We had a special visit from Elder Christensen and his wife from the 70. They gave some powerful and uplifting talks! Something that stood out to me was a quote by Elder Christensen that said BE BOLD! I love this so much! It is soooo important to be bold in all that we do as missionaries! It is vital to share the Gospel and our Testimonies with Boldness! But not just missionaries with nametags all members need

The One with "Being Where My Feet Are"

FEBRUARY 8, 2017 These are family home evenings with some of my favorite families in our ward and also with a new convert that we have! His name is Christian and he was baptized just a week before I came to the sector! He is a miracle and such a faithful member! He is one of the coolest people I have ever met! HELLO EVERYONE!!!  Okay so this week was a great one! Honestly never really had a bad one because I am just radiating with happiness! Buuuut this week was BAKAN! We did a lot of searching for people but also had some really powerful and uplifting moments with investigadores. We met on lady named Rosa and she was outside her house painting. I told Hermana Knechtel that we should go ask if she needed help. SHe told us no and turned her back to us as if she didn't want to talk. I thought... you are not getting away that easy...
