I have chosen to serve an 18mo mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "I know the Lord is loving and kind. I know that He knows us individually and perfectly. I am so grateful to be a servant of my Savior Jesus Christ. Being a missionary has already been the best decision I have made. I love this Gospel and my dear Heavenly Father."
My MOTTO: Work Hard, Pray Harder!
The One with the CHANGES!!
NOVEMBER 23RD 2016 Hola mis amigos y familia!!
is everyone doing and feeling? I hope that at this time of year
everyone is happy and showing gratitude for all the things that we have
in this life. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have just been feeling do
grateful. I have never been so happy I have never been so happy in my
life! The mission is the best place I could be and the best decision I
have ever made in my life!
so First things first, we had changes!!!! I m soooo sad. Our changes
were special too. They were 2 weeks early than usual and only we had
changes. My comp Hermana Ruiz was called to be an Hermana Leader. So, we
had changes with the original Hermana Leaders so that Ruiz could be
trained. The reason we had it early is because both of the Hna Leaders
right now are leaving their missionsin 4 weeks!!
So my Comp now is Hermana Ibanez and she has 18 months in the mission
(She extended her mission one month). So I, having now 5 months in the
mission, have a comp with 18..... fun right? But the good thing is that
Ibanez is honestly so great. She is from Argentina and the sweetest
little thing. I love her so much already and it has only been one day!
But I am heart broken to leave my mama Hermana Ruiz. We are the greatest
of friends and have grown so much together. We cried and cried and
cried when we separated. Now I am leading my sector and things are going
just wonderfully! This past week was the birthday of Hermana Ruiz,
before we had changes. I made her breakfast and gave her a few gifts
that I got for her and spenD the day with families. It is so nice to
have love here from the families, definitely makes it easier for
holidays and birthdays.
week I am just gull of gratitude. I am grateful first and foremost I am
grateful for my Father in Heaven. He is always listening and answering
our prayers because he loves us. I am grateful for my beautiful family
that I have and for their love. Im grateful for all the missionaries in
the world fighting for our Savior, Lord and King. I am grateful for the
Gospel and the pure and infinite joy it brings me. My heart is so full
of gratitude that it might burst!!!
SEPTEMBER 20, 2017 Hello everyone! I hope that this week was great and eventful! I had the greatest week and had some crazy things happen! BUT before I start I would just like to give a shoutout to the best little brother in the world, my little Janson and wish him the Happiest of Birthdays! It was this past Sunday and he is now 15 years old!!! I cannot believe it! HE IS HUGE! I hope it was the greatest day little man and I hope you know how much I love you and thought of you that day! You were in my heart all day long!! I miss you so much but will see you soon mu little buddy! I love you!
Okay so to start out the week we had the most amazing service project ever! We were able to help a family in great need! Sadly an entire house burnt down! EVERYTHING was destroyed and we had to enter the house and clear all the burnt things out. It was a two day job and it was pretty fun, so sad though. We would find things that were kinda okay like some toys of the kids, or clothes, or even just so…
SEPTEMBER 13, 2017
Hey everyone! This week was a great week here in Chile Santiago Sur! We had a fun week with some great ward activities for the CHile Independence Day and a lot of success in the work! So last Saturday we had our huge ward party and we ate a yummy Chilean BBQ and had a war of Ping Pong! My comp and I were doing great until we went up against some Hermano and he killed us, but it was fun anyway!
THis week we had the opportunity to listen tto and have a Conference with a member if the General Authority 70, Elder Bragg! It was so amazing to hear and have a Conference with Elder Bragg. He gave so much insiration and wisdom for our little mission! One thing that really stuck out to me was his way of telling us how we can find and have miracles in the work of the Lord. It is a mix of three very important things, 1. Having a love so deep that it turns to charity 2. Having the highest but most acheivable expectations and 3. Integrity. These 3 things are the pathway to findin…
JULY 5, 2017 HELLO everyone! This has been a crazy, fun, surprising, and a whirlwind of a week! It started out with the BAPTISM OF GUSTAVO and XIMENA!!!! They both were baptized on Saturday and Confirmed the following Sunday! It was one of the greatest days in my mission! They are now members of the church and are working to be sealed in the Temple one year from now! I was filled with joy to see them both in white and 100% clean! True Celestial Happiness right there! Now, not everything went the ways that we wanted it to go! It is not a real baptism if there isnt at least one problem now is it? LOL. First, the hot water in the church was not working! We could not figure out why it would not turn on and could not get it to work! We said a prayer and we were coming everything we could! We figured out it was the batteries so me and my comp go running to the nearest store to change the batteries! Luckily, close by there is a store that is like Home Depot and they have all types of batterie…
