The One with the Colombian Family!! 6/29/17

Hello everyone, so I am writing and it is Thursday because the system was down and we couldnt write yesterday! I am going the make this short but important!

Ok so we have a family from Colombia who we have been teaching for awhile! We have been trying to put a baptismal date with them for a long time and it never seemed to follow through! There was always a problem or issue that they had to accept the date and commit to be baptized. We have been praying and fasting very long and hard that they can feel the peace and will to be baptized and make this very important and vital step in their life. They had issues with the Word of Wisdom, and issues with tithing to start. With time they told us, you know what Hermanas, we understand know why it is important to make this offering to God and we want to show Him that we love Him so also we are going to keep the Word of Wisdom!! WOW miracles! Then they had to find a house before they should be baptized, so they looked for a house a d they found one in ONE DAY!!! With the faith that me and my comp had in the Lord and also Gustavo and Ximena, they are going to be baptised here THIS SATURDAY!!! WE ARE SOOO HAPPY AND EXCITED FOR THEM!!! IT is just amazing to see how much the Lord can do and all the wonders her does for us when we have the sufficient faith and hope in Him. It has been a crazy couple of days but we are ready and excited for the baptism of a FAMILY this Saturday! They are working to go to the Temple to be sealed in one year from Saturday as well! THIS IS THE WORK OF THE LORD AND SALVATION!!! Bringing families together forever! IT is the best job in the world to be a missionary and to help the people here in Chile! I love being a Sisiter Missionary and serving the Lord with all my heart, might, mind, and strength! I love you all so much and will see you next week! 

WORK HARD, PRAY HARDER!!!

OCTOBER 18, 2017 Hello family and friends! I hope all is well and that you all had a great week and that everyone is getting ready for Halloween! This week here in Chile was a little crazy but full of learning and growing opportunities. To start out  the week we got a call from our Bishop at 6 in the morning informing us of the saddest news. A recent convert in our ward that we have been teaching lost her husband this week from a brain aneurysm. It was a rapid and uncontrollable loss.  This family has had more trials that anyone I have ever met. They have a one year old baby who had a tumor on the back on her neck and head that was the same size as her head. Part of her brain was inside of this ball, so the surges were sooo hard to do! The first one was to just split her skull open to make room, then another operation to push her brain inside her head, then had another emergency one because the blood wasnt flowing right. The One with Being Bold! 11-8-17

NOVEMBER 8, 2017 Hello friends and family how are you all doing this week! I am doing great here in the mission Chile Santiago South This week was a week full of conferences. We had one as the South part of the mission and then we had a huge one as a whole mission and the West mission. It was crazy! While we were there I realized how tiny our mission is and how few of us there really are. The West mission has many many missionaries and we are just so few, but we are the best! The west mission were all serious and our mission was a fun and excited! We are like a big, happy family! We had a special visit from Elder Christensen and his wife from the 70. They gave some powerful and uplifting talks! Something that stood out to me was a quote by Elder Christensen that said BE BOLD! I love this so much! It is soooo important to be bold in all that we do as missionaries! It is vital to share the Gospel and our Testimonies with Boldness! But not just missionaries with nametags all members need

The One with "Being Where My Feet Are"

FEBRUARY 8, 2017 These are family home evenings with some of my favorite families in our ward and also with a new convert that we have! His name is Christian and he was baptized just a week before I came to the sector! He is a miracle and such a faithful member! He is one of the coolest people I have ever met! HELLO EVERYONE!!!  Okay so this week was a great one! Honestly never really had a bad one because I am just radiating with happiness! Buuuut this week was BAKAN! We did a lot of searching for people but also had some really powerful and uplifting moments with investigadores. We met on lady named Rosa and she was outside her house painting. I told Hermana Knechtel that we should go ask if she needed help. SHe told us no and turned her back to us as if she didn't want to talk. I thought... you are not getting away that easy...
